Dad-burn stanchions !!!!!!!!

Response to stanchion removal
I have not been able to break mine loose from the bases using any of the methods covered so far. I am about ready to price out a new one piece SS rail system ( $$ that's gotta hurt $$ ). My bases are just to fare gone to install on new teak toe rails! I think I might get a vat of penetrating oil and soak 'em in there for a while.
