Here are some updated photos of this little project (and how it fits into a larger project).

Last one shows the toe rail around the cockpit. That is the next project. I expect it to be easier than these ladders. There are so many corners to work around on the ladders. And, they have to be turned a couple of ways to get each full coat applied. My father (and chief inspector) is clearly hard at work in this one.
This teak is weathered, but easy to access and without treatment. There is not finish to strip, simply cleanse and begin. I'll post photos when it progresses.
