My 430 overhaul...
Some pictures of my 430 overhaul...
Some from the garage and a couple from the engine work shop called "Birka Motorrenoveringar" in Stockholm, Sweden...
No text between the pictures, the picture tells it all...
The engine was in a horrible condition and the guy at the engine work shop said to me when he had done his job that
"You didn't come her with a bad working engine, you came here with something wich was doing some turns
for you so you could move forward"...
The crankshaft now has 0.010" oversize and the pistons 0.030"

Thanks for sharing. That engine should last another 50 years.
It looks like you went with the flat top pistons. Is that correct? Are you going to dyno the motor before installing?

Yes, it is the flatties and...
No, I'm not gonna dyna it first.
It will be a "first time startup" the classic way for about 20-30 minutes in different RPMs.

Looks great! Wow, I have never seen that done to a valve cover before.

Nice movie! Glad you're back. Would you like to expand on the choice of music? What was good, bad, or ugly about this build?
