Man I dont know, I would think if detonation was that severe I would hear it, it runs great. I can check compression on that cylinder.

Im probably not going to run it much more this year. The only thing that I noticed that caused this was that one time I didnt put the spark plugs in very tight and it did this on a couple cylinders.. Mainly because I wasnt using the right socket (the wall of the socket hit the manifold), which I didnt know at the time. That has since been fixed..

Next time I get to the boat I'll inspect all the plugs and see where we stand. It was still hitting on all 8 when I put it away so that will be a good indication.

I suppose since there could be some carbon buildup since it did foul the plug out once.

What plugs do you guys recommend for the 327F?
