Injectors

Response to Injectors

Terry,

I suspect your engines are cranking out at a very minimum 485HP, probably closer to 500HP. Those numbers are very good. My boat would top out at 24.5 knots in flat water with the old N90 injectors. When we remodeled, she gained quite a bit of wieght. Granite counter tops, and an 850 pound inflatable on the fore deck. Now, even with the 9215 injectors she can only manage 23.5 knots. That is with tanks filled to the brim and full water. I don't know what she will do with half a tank. Some of the speed loss also is because the swim platform is draging at the edges. If I can cruise at 20 knots, I will be happy.
By the way, there is a company called Beachcomber who manufacures very nice tackle centers and other fiberglass parts. Below is their web address.
