Finding/reconstructing 38 Commander Helm Seats

Good afternoon everybody!!

This is my first posting to the forum. I am the new owner of "North Coast"(Steve's former boat). Her new name is "Hamatreya" (poem by Emerson). She has successfully made the journey to beautiful Douglas Michigan (just south of Holland where she was built). She will be fanatically maintained and I am trying to bring her back to "period" over the next several months. Her hullsides were rubbed out and waxed today and her bottom painted. She will be back in Lake Michigan on Saturday for the first time in 40 years!!

I would like to find or re-create the frames and footrests for the port and starboard helm seats. I understand that the were originally an OEM supplied by Pompanette and I have inquired with the manufacturer but, as yet have not heard anything. Anybody know of a pair that might be available or where I might get some shop drawings? The foot rests are the really difficult part.

Also--anybody have access to a line drawing of a 38 Commander Express?

Thanks!!

Sam
