While not technically a commander, definitely a good choice. The stern drive should make it fairly versatile as far as places you can drive it...

Has the boat been in the water regularly, or has it been stored out of the water for a long time? Seen a lot of older stern drives, the rubber boots that go around the shaft go bad and cause some nasty leaks.. Cant hurt to check.

How many hours? Hopefully it was kept mint, but still enjoyed!! Looks like you have a nice time capsule on your hands, congrats!
