Response to Calling 23 Commander/Lancer owners...
The 23' Lancer is very nearly a Commander because it is on one of the close branches of the Commander family tree. The 23' hull took three different directions, the V-drive installation of the 23 Commander, the outdrive of the 23 Lancer, and the true inboard of the 23 Lancer. The 23' Lancer Premiere/Custom Super Sport of 1970, of which 25 were built, seems to be a 427 powered V-drive Commander with a Lancer badge on the side. You can see these hulls are all closely related, they're all basically the same but with different mechanicals. They all look great too.

Here is a bit of info we have in the files discussing some Lancer 23 stuff. I know I have a lot more in the Sport Boat file, so I'll upload that perhaps tomorrow. Stay tuned.
