Response to Instrument cluster

Hello Thibaud,
Great job on your project, especially the teak. I took a look at pics of Oscar's Monte Carlo 23 ft. No help for instrument cluster configuration.
Your topside has the same features as a 1968 commander 23. Raised edge just above the rubrail. My bow/topside is smooth. It's one of several differances on the 23 from 68' to 69'. Very interesting model.
Also, the helm and companion seats w/ head rests (star trek) were standard on all 23 commanders. Optional seating was an additional 3/4 mid seat. Nick has that set up on his 23 that he purchased a short while back. Mike O'Brien's 23 has aftermarket seating. Certainly more functional.
It seems that you are going to install a rear bench seat similar to the Lancer. Can you see any signs of an original rear deck as one on my model or maybe something similar to the Monte Carlo model?
Best of luck. Can't wait to see another 23 restored.
