| hi mate, that F246 is a Crane Cams part .i have had much success with it.you can mach port the manifold I don't but thats me,I would have 140 lbs on the seat with the valv springs after run in, and i always run 3/8 pushrods . I have found the best results with a 750 or a 850 holley d/p with a one inch 4 hole spacer under the carb and a one inch open under that to help the turn into the runners.I always ran 4.3 or 4.5 rear gears with 26" tall slicks or road slick with slapper bars.with a good clutch (NOT 3600 lbs)and light flywheel(18 to 20 lbs) you shuld be able to launch at 5000 to 7000 rpm ,shift at about 6800 and run about 11.70 et in a 3400 lbs car |
