I just built a similar combo but ran 11:1 with a flat top. I ran 135lbs closed and 320lbs on the nose with no issues. Its a 3 speed auto car with a 4800 converter with 4:33's and a 27.5" tyre. weighs 1350kgs. yet to race it though.
