me, my lady, & her mother spent a month cleaning her garage. now, finally, the Edsel has a new home
here's the edsel with my lincoln daily driver next to it. my lady has a classic seville that she wasn't ready to park for the winter yet, so my lincoln was parked in the mean time

Re: 1958 Edsel Corsair 2 door Hardtop
Which brings us to this past weekend, not a lot of progress but if you only knew what it took to get the engine to this point. it was absolutely insane. started on my old shops pallet racking, then involved a pickup, a trailer, a shop, a backyard, one of the most rickety tow trucks ever, a plastic pallet which was destroyed in the process, a borrowed engine stand and about 100 miles total driving not counting going to wisconsin and getting the engine which can be seen on page 2.
here is the engine in my club presidents garage, ready for tear down which will begin next sunday.

Nice photo diary of a cool car. Love that colour scheme!
How bad is the rust on the rocker panels? Are there more crispy bits anywhere on the car?
Cheers,
Reijer
