Hello. Nice site.
I understand the 1958 383 MEL came with an Autolite 4100 1.19 carb. I have one just sitting on a shelf and before I put it to work as a doorstop, is it worth anything to anyone?
Thanks guys. Hate for stuff to be thrown out. Never know.
Is a Autolite 4100 1.19 of any value?

I wouldn't toss it. The guys at ponycarbs ( google it ) are getting big bucks for the restored 1.12 model. I hear their stuff is very good. Your bigger model should be worth something. Just my opinion, Vanscooter

Welcome to the forum. The Autolite 4100 is pure gold in the eyes of a restorer. I have two of them in the shelf that I'm going to restore one day. Please don't discard it. Thank you for offering it here on the MEL forum. You may also consider to post it in the "For Sale" section. We currently don't have a free give away section if this is what's on your mind. I will create such a section later this day.
Again thanx for posting and hope you enjoy this site.
