Yep, glad your back Peter. I know what you mean about the life issues. I have been dealing with those for a few years now, and still looking at quite a few more.

Yes, life does get in the way of these pretty projects.
My machinist is double checking everything in terms of measurement since most of this happened three years ago. ...
The block is going together, and we will check valve clearance. Since I have Shelby18's 9.6 pistons, it should be all good, but better safe than sorry. I found a set of Isky chrome moly pushrods, but now I have to exchange my Harland Sharp rocker adjusters for cup instead of ball, since the Isky's have balls on both ends. Not a big deal. Once I get the block together, I can put the two housings back on that hold the engine legs. That means the engine can go on a cradle for the rest of the assembly..... and I can fuss with it all winter. I'm looking forward to it.
