Hey all,
My E-bay addiction got me another 58 Mercury. This time it is a green and white Monterey with a 383. The other 58 Merc is a Park Lane with a 430, but the engine was out and apart of the Park Lane making the car undrivable. The seller of this Monterey claims it has 20,163 original miles. He told me the whole story of how it has that amount of mileage---seems believeble. He did buy it from the original owner, so the story may be true. Either way, he also says the car has original tires. Much paper work comes with the car. This is a running and driving car, all it needs is some paint, tires and odds & ends. Now, I will finally be able to cruise under MEL power.

CONGRATULATIONS!
Can you give the E-BAY URL so that we can see it?

Hopefully that link works, I don't have much luck posting links here. Atleast the E-bay number is in there for you to use in the e-bay search.

Well, it will be restored, but not to perfection. I intend to drive it more ofen than I would the Park Lane. It will be a fun car to cruise around in.
