I drove to Detroit and back today... 13.5 hours round trip, and I bought this....

and yep, thats exciting, but look at this...

and look at where it came from..

and look what's in it. this is the mechanics maintenance manual..!

I just about crapped when I saw it sitting there..

Each section of the car has a complete maintenance, schematic and tool listing. Maybe these are common, but I didn't think so. All the torque specs, everything

That is an original Ford motor company super marauder intake.... so just a bolt on.
Now I need carbs...

The Mopar six pack carbs are a bolt on. I have the 440 carbs on mine and simply bored the throttle holes in the intake to match the carb bore sizes on the end carbs. The center pivot carb bowls on the Mopar carbs just clear the distributor without having to change over to the side pivot flat faced bowls.

I am going to chicken out, and send the manifold to Joe Bunetic, who I have spoken to a couple of times on the phone. I need mechanical linkage, and marine returns on the tubes..

John Bunetic came highly recommended for tri power carbs. I came across him on a website for tri power history. You have to call him though...no emails! I hope to call him soon myself for my set up. I need linkage and since mine were 3 seperate 2 barrel carbs turned into tri power carbs...i want it scoped out to make sure it will all work out. I am not a carb man myself but this guy knows his stuff!

I have a 58 service manual but there is nothing about the tri power in it. Does your book have it in there? I bought the book to understand the cooling system but was hoping it was in there! I do have some copies of info though. Thanks
