You build the drivetrain to match the vehicle or its intended use. Seeing as a stock MEL makes the most torque and horsepower at a very low RPM a stock stall converter or a little higher RPM is fine. So, for the timing components - is there an idler assembly or is it gear-to-gear (crank to camshaft?)

If it is gear-to-gear you can't just get a regular 430 camshaft ground as the cam rotates opposite the crank in that configuration... Just wondering!
