Send those photos !

December 1 2008, 3:17 PM

Hi David, I just looked at my email and didn't see anything. Send me a note to chriscraftcommander@hotmail.com and then send me another one with the photo attempt. Be sure to limit the number of photos to a few each message so the system wont kick em out.

Should work fine, looking forward to seeing the boat.

Good luck with those heads too!

regards,

Paul

Here are some comparison photos

I wish my electrical fuse center looked as good as yours! Interesting looking aft deck canopy you got there, and professionally done too.

Interesting comparison between your 35 and Reece's 36. Here is your 35 below.

Here is Reece's 36 below; essentially the same boat from the waterline up? I see a little more glass on the starboard side of the 36 than on the 35.

This basic design is one of Dick Avery's best, and it was used on the initial 42 SC, as adapted directly from the 38 Express hull, it was then morphed into your model, and into the updated 42 and 45. All shared the same basic theme and they all look like they are siblings. Very nice proportions, with the performance and functional utility to back it up.

How's this for a great photo? It's Mike Schrage's 1971 427-powered 35' Sports Cruiser, that's me in the red hat with my back to the camera! I saw Dave mention Mike's boat in another post, thought I'd add it here as a comparison. The 36 clearly has a bit of additional glass in the greenhouse around the lower helm. All are very nice and desirable boats!

1969 CCC. 35ft.

Paul those were great pictures. The canopy over the aft. deck was dameged on her way via.I-95 n.@ 75mph. It was less than a year old! There is a hard top that will be put on tomorrow. Then she goes SPLASH! By the way her name is RIVERDANCE This is her documented name.I will be heading N. up the St. Johns River. About 30 miles on just 1 engine the port. The starboard has the heads off will have her all back together next wk. Can you give me advice on gaskets to use? Thanks Again David.

427 head gaskets

Here is a relevant thread, hope it helps you, and hope your cruise up the St. Johns goes without a hitch. Docking with one motor will be a challenge, but it CAN be done.
