Well Deb and I came back to Huron and amazingly enough ran into 3 Chris Crafts from last weekend what a great ride coming here today it was 80 degrees and sunny with 1 foot waves. Deb drove the boat all the way to Huron while I sat on the bow and drank beer how good is that! Got some good video on the cell phone camera I will post later this week.

That's a nice place to go back to

One week end there, and I want to come back too! Great facilities, friendly people.

Having Deb drive and sitting out front, ahhh man, some people REALLY know how to live, ha ha. Seeing the harbor full of Chris Crafts was such a memory. Beautiful classics in great shape, sitting there in that harbor with, and everyone was upbeat and having a good time. I can see why you guys wanted to go back. Hope the week end and holiday was a good one for both of you guys.

As you know, we had a "cultural experience" Saturday night here in Tennessee, when we ventured out to the Cherokee Steak House, at Cherokee Boat Dock on Old Hickory Lake. It was like a scene out of the movies. The parking lot was dimly lit at night, people EVERYWHERE, sitting on bences, walking around, a few collector cars here and there (drivers), and country music coming out of the speaker system. The music was interrupted with an announcement every now and then and finally we heard "Pletcher family, party of four". Inside the place it was jammed, waitresses slinging plates everywhere, no alcohol but you could brown bag it. Steaks were great, by the way. On the way out we drive right by Reba McYntire's house right there on 109.

This Monday morning we're about to walk out the back door of our lake house and fire up the 327F and take a morning run out to Gallatin Marina for breakfast, which is almost all the way out to Cherokee. Nothing like hearing a Chris Craft fire up early in the morning when everything else is quiet. Everyone in our cove knows the boat now, and many of them have been on it for a ride.

Hey............the coffee is ready.........have to run

Regards,

Paul
