Everybody on the forum, check this out. I was able to enjoy a personal aspect of the Huron event that I would like to share. These guys keep me up to date during the planning of this event through email and phone calls. Being in close proximity to Huron, I could have been called on to help often. All though I constantly made myself available to help in any way, I was given a pass. I think they all knew I was overwhelmed with toe rails, motor troubles and trying to get something done at work once in a while. I think the consideration they showed by allowing me to just sit back and enjoy was pretty awesome.

I don't want this to be the start of a mutual admiration society thing, I just thought it deserved a mention.

In essence, it "is" a mutual admiration society, simply due to the calibre of people this forum (and this event) has been able to attract. The dynamics on the docks, at the pre-dinner coctail party, and at the dinner were really special. Thanks for being a part of it, it would have been soooooooo easy to leave the boat behind, with the perfect excuse of having one engine down. Commander people (do rock)!

Thursday night with you guys was also something I'll remember forever, good times with some really good guys.

We're all still smiling from a wonderful week-end, and the good news is, we're going to do it again next year.
