Hi Paul,
We set off for France on Monday and as you can see the sea was calm and the sun was shining. We moored in Granville Marina and had planed to coast hop for the rest of the week to other ports. Unfortunatly, as the wind and the rain increased we could not move the boat until yesterday and had to stay put but the beer was fine.
As always, something happened, 15 minutes out of Granville the s/b engine buzzer went and it was over heating. Paul lifted the engine hatch and noticed that the fan belt was gone. He very bravely replaced this (sea was rough) whilst I kept a look out for pots and rocks and he managed to fit a new one and an hour and half later we were back home, every thing else ran sound.
Sorry I do not have any more photos, hopefully the next trip will be more succesful.
Regards to all
Heidi and Paul

(ABOVE:) This is a great photo from France, showing a couple of Commander owners who know how to have a great time. This is Heidi Pigeon and Paul LeRoux, both giving the
"Commander Salute" they made famous here on The Forum. They live in the sea faring rich environment of the English Channel Islands, and who run SEASPRAY, a well equipped diesel powered 31' Express. SEASPRAY, by the way, is the official Chris Craft Commander flagship of the English Channel, regardless of the size of the boat, this boat has more provenance and cruising reputation than any other Commander anywhere in UK. They regularly make runs on the English Channel, and on this occasion, actually crossed over to France for some rest and relaxation. All I can say guys, is
"Some people really know how to live!" Heidi, thanks once again for sharing so much with the rest of the Commander Community world-wide.
Regards, all the best,
Paul,
