Well Gang we hit the drink about 3 pm on Thursday. By 5pm I decided that the port starter was caplooey. We limped down the channel the our slip on one motor. No big deal it ain't the first time. I spent most of the weekend installing hardware with a round of golf and a chopper ride mixed in for good measure. As the Toerail Replcement Job winds down to an end and the boating season starts to roll, I reflect on the hard work done and good times had by all wno helped. A big thanks to Cindy, Lisa, Zach, Ty and Joz. No way in he!! I could have done it with out them.

Here is the first of many shots I will post to the Forum in the future that illustrate the fruits of our labor.

Show quality all the way

July 10 2008, 5:15 AM

Chris, that is some first class work, befitting of any boat show, judged or not. Sadly, most of the judges out there would recognize the wood, but wouldn't know what that light colored substance is we call gelcoat. Once they got a good look, I think most of the wood boat guys would become converts.

Hi Chris,

Great news to hear you splashed the boat, you have put so much heart into it, and the photos of the work are quite stunning. It's grin time now. Sit back and enjoy the show, and watch people walk by and shake their heads, ha.

Looking forward to the addl photos, and to seeing you guys in person.

Regareds,

Paul

That boat looks so good that....

Chris:
Well done!!!!! On everything. I think I will hang up a picture of Feelgood on my locker in Iraq and tell everybody that its MY boat!!!!! You have knocked a homerun with the bases loaded. Toe rails highlight everything. The shake down cruise did what it was supposed to do and you got back on your own power. That is a biggy!
In the words of what's her name, "Fabulous, dahling, simply fabulous!"
Jerry - With a bad case of boatitus envy.
