Thanks for the well wishes and cautions. I am under the care of a very prominent surgeon that specializes in the ankle and foot. I kinda thought he was a dink at first but, his work seems to speak for it self. He incourages doing what ever feelsgood (har,har) as long it does not cause swelling. No serious issues with swelling anymore so I am rockin' and rollin'! It hurts like hell at times but, it is manageable with a little rest and occasionally some ibuprofen. And yes the cold wet weather is a b!#ch. I honestly was convinced it would never be as good as it is now. And I am still "heeling". The futures so bright I gotta wear shades!
I am heading out to the shop, errr garage, to put the final coat of varnish for this season on the pulpit, swim platform and taffrail. I decided that the move from the shop to attached garage was easier than cleaning out a years worth of saw dust. Plus I get the added benefit of sweet varnish aromas permeating the humble abode. I think a glass of red liquid full of antioxidants and some smooth guitar jazz are in order.
