Here is a reminder of what Spring is all about! Routine maintenace. I decided to take a look at the water pump that sends water to cool the oil system. Sure enough, it was time to do. I am going to sleep good tonight!

Looks like the impeller was working when the motor finally shut down for the last time. Blades frozen in the memory of the last run, some of those blades might even pump a little water after they heated up a bit. Definately time for new impellers. Lube them up with a silicone grease, first time you fire the engine pour a little water down the hose and into the pump, clamp everything back up and you should get a prime right away.
