I have always had a spot in my heart for the Sea Skiff. Having owned a 35' Clipper model with twin 327F motors, I learned to appreciate the light weight and response of those boats. That big 35 would run and handle like a runabout. I'm actually surprised we never use it for water skiing.
We took many an overnight trip with it, many cocktail cruises, and had it through the locks up to Old Hickory Lake on several occasions. It was by far, the fastest cruiser at our yacht club, by a wide margin. I ran an aluminum 454 Marinette one day, walked away with 3/4 throttles, and there were witnesses aboard both boats, ha ha.
I'd love to have one like this, but having allready felt the pains of being spread way too thin, can't do it. Well............there is one thing standing between me and being a true Chris Craft fleet owner.......and that's the lottery!
Regards,
Paul
