I can feel and smell Lake St Clair water just from the pictures! We were on the Sni Bora, up from Deckers. Our island is on the corner of the Baltimore and the Sni. My grandfather built the house himself and it has stood for around 90 years I suppose; even through all the floods. He was a very skilled man with his hands, boats, cars, houses, there was not anything he could not do. He had many Chris Crafts over the years, from Cruisers to Triples, to my boat (a 22 Sportsman).

I go back every year to explore, but have never brough my boat! I have had a dream for a long time to drive my CC around the flats in style. I have to get a tow car again. Sports cars do not seem to do the job happy.gif

I have always been curious about Russel Island, it looks to be a great place!
