Response to OK, here is how it played out......

After being the first to notice Bill's post about the 31', I planted the seed in another post to get Jerry's attention. Knowing he would most certainly at least take the hook. I knew my sweetie was never going to let me even talk about buying another boat (I was still smarting from my 50 lashes I got for buying a Lyman behind her back). However, I knew the Admiral of Iraq could pull it off. So after a few weeks of hitech negotiating Jerry has taken on the noble task of saving another Commander. All HAIL JERRY. Along the way there was a mention of extra BBC's. My ears perked up and I posted a note to remind all parties of my need for MORE HORSEPOWER. Then the hints started dropping and Jerry set a similar hook to the one Bill got him with. After a couple of emails and a couple of skype calls from IRAQ!! a deal was struck.

I will now be adding 454 Crusaders to the list of recent upgrades to the "Feelgood". She can't wait. Jerry has made them available to me at for a cost that I can live with and Mr. Wellar will most certainly approve of---- an SBC and a road trip! I have always wanted to see the Bay and DC. I wonder how much grief I will get for crusin' the Capital, while pulling a flat bed trailer that is carrying a couple of large chunks of something heavy, covered with a blue tarp? Maybe Jerry can get me the proper clearance. happy.gif

I want to mention because it must be noted, that it was Bill, and his generous offering of the 31' that has made a couple of crazy old boat nuts very happy!!!(Sorry Jer, if the shoe fits)

Also, not with out some culpability in perpetuating this craziness, our most gracious of moderators Paul Pletcher for giving us a place to work it all out. (PP, can you add a 12 step program to the Master Index)?

Damn the (insert whatever here),Full Speed Ahead, Chris Wade
