Response to Engines - Use of metal pipe vs. hoses.
A good looking motor generally (not always) means the owner visits the engine room frequently and keeps an eye on everything. It is most impressive when tossing open the hatches for people to look in and see the heart of the boat.

I know they do have some products that keep copper and brass from tarnishing, I'll check as soon as I get back from Colorado, where I am now. It was minus 19 degrees her earlier in the week! No boating -
