I need help the the yard ape i used to work on my 1969 35ft. commander was checking out the motors port eng. ok strb. eng. he tells it has a cracked head he said he knew where to get one. I said to ck. it out and let me know how much. He took it on himself to take the head, intake,etc. off.I called the marina to tell them i wanted to put the boat in the water and pay my bill.Iwent and paidup they tell me i owe 1250.00 to this shade tree and i have to pay before they put the boat in.I have no contract with this guy there for i owe notta.The marina is paid infull and there contract says nothing about unpaid mech.charges. Any ideas ? I hate to have any hard feelings but i never gave the go ahead to repair the head.Also i have to hook back the exhaust before it goes in dont i. Sure would like some feed back tonite. Iam sorry lay all this on yall and to bore you death with my problem.
