Yes this one IS RARE. It's an outboard, but the outboard motor is hidden under a valance supposedly to get rid of the noise and to also make it look like an inboard boat. Interesting concept, not sure they sold many. Production numbers should be published in the Essential Guide, I'll take a look later when I have access to a copy.

Anything from 35 hp and up should make that boat plenty fast for water skiing and general fun. Putting a 75 or 80 on it would make it downright dangerous in the wrong hands!
