Response to THAT is a great history lesson
I also enjoyed the history lesson, very interesting stuff, especially knowing all those cannon balls are on the bottom of the Cumberland River, would be a nice artifact to find.

As for the float plan, looks like some major fun in the making. Don't push it too hard, better to arrive in good shape than to push it and break something expensive trying to save a little time. BE SURE to check your transmission fluid, and of course, your oil too.
