Response to Feel your pain

Janet and I have had four Dalmatians on our farm for the better part of 30 years, and when we lose one we always (eventually) bring another precious member of the family into the fold. Every time we lose one it is crushing, but we still have three for comfort. It works for us. Some of the most terrifying times of my life have been when our gate was left open and one or more of these dogs got out. This happened recently, and we thank God we were able to get our family members back with us unhurt.

Here is one we lost a couple years ago, Terri the Terror, photo taken in 1997. This was one of my very best friends. She was an exceptionally smart dog, very vocal, great personality, and very classy demeanor. On occasion she would get on the internet, correspond with other Dalmatians, and when she got my credit card number then Porsche and Commander parts started arriving. One very talented, loyal, and protective set of teeth right here.

Here she is one day, when she came over to give me a visit during some self-imposed slave labor at the ranch. Friends like these are hard to find, and when you lose them, it will tear you up.

Dog lovers are good people.........

Regards,

Paul & Janet
