Response to stability



The vessels will be powered with diesel engines and pod propulsion systems. The overall output of the engines will be 67,200kW (approximately 90,100hp). The ship will be designed to make 24kt while cruising.

It sounds like it has warship speed, and that is very impressive. Looking at the bottom, it looks like their stability program is basically to avoid storms with speed. I know I'm being calloused, but I am very curious about whether or not the boat has an active stability system, or whether it is the same passive system built into ships for the last several centuries. If it is the latter, this boat still looks amazingly top heavy.
