Very impressive numbers, so impressive I'm not sure I believe the speed comparison from a 330 hp Chrysler to a 315 hp Dolphin. Still, those are VERY impressive numbers. What is the basis for this engine? Is it a purpose built motor, is it an elongated automotive block, or is it a Chrysler or Ford industrial V-10 that is marinized? When you have two more cylinders pulling for you, the torque will certainly go up, and at 485 footpounds, that is one heck of a rating.
Sure would like to have a pair of em in my boat!
These sort of remind me of the Falconer V-12 models out, but those are elongated small block automotive motors, still nice, but expensive.
