Response to Hurricane Gustav, anyone heard from Roy? Hanna on the way.
My 45 TF broke loose from what I thought very safe mooring northside of Bay St.Louis Ms.Wrong! She is now 37ft ashore resting atop a bulkhead with 8ft of her stern hanging 5ft above the water resting against a tree.No visible damage so far ,but looking for one serious crane and skillfull crew to refloat her. I just completed a complete restoration last month.I will post pic's if I can. As a side note 11 large boats 40+ft where lost don't know how many smaller ones, but too many. Weather was forecast to have only 5-7ft tide surge. We had 15-17ft surge. This is 135 miles east of were the storm went ashore. go figure! If I can save her next time I run her up the Tom Bigbee.
