Thanks Paul and Mark, good information, I did more looking and found a company called The Mary Conlin Company. I spoke to them, and though they are not an ascrow company, they are able to search for leins and registered owners. Once those checks have been made, they then provide the documents for transfer of ownership to parties to be signed. Once those documents are signed, they start the process of documenting the boat in the buyer's name. By the way, after seeing the Carver, I appreciate my Chris Craft even more.
