When I was selling new Sea Rays (GASP!) in the early part of this century, we made very sure we warned customers about running on one engine if a failure occurred at sea. You should see the look on a skipper's face, who just dropped a quarter mil on a new boat, when you tell him he's got to crawl down in the bilge and lash down that free wheeling shaft! The next question would invariably be: "How?"
I believe the good folks at Z.F. have since solved that issue...
