Response to Nice job

Thanks for the good words Tom. I actually used the Cafe Press many years ago for a gag T-shirt run for a birthday party, and it was a blast. Our present was a box full of shirts with names on them, and we all donned the most goofy looking shirts and had a really good time. A few years ago when I was still on the board at the Commander Club, I recommended the board use Cafe Press to avoid all the hand stuffing and accounting that was obviously such a chore at the time. They eventually took the suggestion and I think it's been a good thing for them. I'm hoping it helps us raise a few bucks here too, by selling a few shirts for the Huron event.

Your coffed cup comment rings home. I hear you loud and clear about thinking about the boat during the morning coffee. I don't need the reminder, but I like looking at a 38 Commander, lol. I don't know what lasts longer, coffee cups or T-shirts, since I have some of each that are pretty old. I have a T-shirt for a company that has been out of business since the mid 1970s, it doesn't fit any more due to the fact that is shrank up to a size that would fit Whaler and Whiner, ha ha, but I just keep it to remind me of good times I guess.

Anyway, I think it will be fun to see these shirts pop up at boating events in the future, since I generally hit the wood boat circuit pretty heavily each season, I think I'll see one someday somewhere, and it will be an interesting ice breaker if it happens.

Regards, see you at Huron?

Paul
