Response to Carter AFB Rebuild question
First thought is accelerator pump. A low float level can cause this, particularly if the boat is starting to plane with the bow up proud. Float levels are determined assuming the carb is level. As stated, the timing should be well into its advance curve at 2000..slow advance curve, real lazy motor.
