Thanks for the info on how you put in those groves on your Connie. I plan on doing the same (above the water line), on the fall haul out this year before I re-paint the hull. Hum? yes I'd probably go with 3M 101 polysulfide for putting in those routed groves. I plan on painting with Interlux Brightside. A couple of coats of primer and probably 3 top coats.
Easypoxy is good too, but I have experience with Interlux Brightside and was satisfied with another job that I had using it. I found that the "trick" to applying Brightside was to thin a little with Interlux 333, heat the paint in a pot of water on a hot plate, and apply it very thin with a 6" foam roller and then tip with a 2" or 3" bager hair brush. *** You need to have another person that can keep "cooking" the paint on the hot plate and keep handing hot paint to you to apply. The job came out very well and looked as if it had been sprayed on. Thanks again
