Response to 38 Coho/Corinthan Big Sister |
| Hi Doug,
Interesting but tragic history about that early Coho. Yes, I do have some info about that model and I'll post it later next week when I get back to Nashville. Many of the Commander models, the 38' Commander being one, have a semi keel looking shape which would probably help control a roll, but if you get sideways into a big wave I can see how it could be quite a tough event, especially if the boat was making a turn and was allready on the roll. I'm interested in the shape of the Coho bottom, because some of the Catalinas don't seem to have had as deep a V section. I've heard the 38' Commander described as a "modified deep V" of sorts.
In any case, give me a few days and I'll add to this thread with some 38 Coho info.
Regards,
Paul |
