It's really bad for them right now. Just talked to my sister who tells me it has exceeded the levels projected by the 500 year flood projections. The only category after that is "Biblical"
There was some pretty awesome footage of a large railroad bridge tumbling down in the river current. The railroad had loaded 16 train cars full of rock and moved them to the center of the bridge to hold the it down. It wasn't enough. Dropping 16 freight cars full of rock into the path of the flood waters probably did not help matters upstream.
And the water is still rising.
