I don't know of anywhere else on the planet earth where we could get this kind of specific hands-on knowledge. This is great stuff.
Thanks for sharing, and know there will be people all over the world who read this info, print it for their files, and will be using this info to their advantage for many years to come. Until you mentioned this the other day, I had no idea there were different versions of the same cap. I knew there were apparently different manufacturers, but didn't know the differences.
I might photograph the red, black, and tan caps, put a number on them as you noted, and add this to the archives. Good stuff!
