Response to NOT a boating thread

Here's our team

Here's the "ribinator", the leader of the rib-ccoking pack. The guy in the dark glasses is his brother, and they were working the cooker in a tag team format. It sure was fun to drink beer and watch!

Here's yours truely, conferring with the "ribinator". You can tell from the photo, that this guy is really stressed out, wound up as tight as a watch spring (not).

Our team wrapping up some of the 18 racks of ribs we cooked.

Some of the competition!

This was a LOT of fun. It took all day long, and there was plenty of time to walk around, visit, add another log to the fire, drink some more beer, eat some ribs, ha ha. You get the idea.

Here are a few photos of the crime scene. This is a corner of a very large estate, where we occupied a barn on the property. That's a lake on the property, by the way, and not a river! They're in the process of expanding a lodge-like structure next to the barn.

Here is the skeet shooting station, those green things are the covers for the automated skeet throwers. This is the first annual event, we'll be doing it again next year. Anyone want some ribs, this is the place to be! Warning: your clothes will smell like hickory smoke, even after washing them!
