Hatch refurb

Response to Leaking hatches.

I had sort of the same issue so I ended up removing the entire hatch assy, disassembled it sandblasted it, replaced the glass with new smoked type glass then repainted and resealed it. Make sure you re seal the glass to hatch real good or it will leak. If you have the sliding vent on your hatch be sure to make the metal slider straight and snug up the retaining screws. For the seal I used self adhesive foam rubber weather stripping on the underside of the hatch inside that gutter area. Its real snug at first so you'll have to adjust the aluminum hinges until you find the sweet spot. Hope this helps.
