I've used the rope lights for indirect lighting underneath the ledge just above the counter top and just below the windows in the galley and plan on coming up with a method for using it for the main steps into the salon. It looks great at night when the counter top is lit up but not enough to attract every bug in the marina. There are a couple more areas that may work for this as well. But yes, theres a lot a room for improvement on the lighting arrangements on these boats.
