There's something nice about being first. Why wait around for springtime to be half over? Sure, there may still be a cold day or three, but probably not cold enough to cause any problems, my boat is in the water all year long and I keep sponges in the clamshells to keep the ice cold breeze from entering right where it can do damage, along with foam stuffed around the perimeter valence, etc. Works for me.

Hope you have those 427 motors running sweet this season. They're a joy to behold!
