Paul:
Here in Washington, as in, I'm sure, other places, when the 1812 Overture is performed, it is complete with cannon and there are many interesting stories related to the timing of the "cannon's roar"! It is quite a shock to have an 106 go off behind you the first time or even better to be facing it when the blank lets go.
Nashville, home of some of the finest music on earth, produced the music for "Hot Rod Lincoln" and many of the previous songs from which these words evolved, although the race took place in CA. NOW, it would be a deal to hear this music played with your big dogs barking out at the right time or running during the whole thing! My ears hurt just thinking of the possibilities.
Big Guns,
Big Dogs,
Older Whiskey,
Younger Women and
More Money!
Theres a song there somewhere! I'll have to work on it.
