Renault motor?

Now that is a new one on me. Renault power in an American boat. Get the serial number off the boat and maybe someone can help. Also, I'd be interested in seeing a picture of it. If it is a 1963, it would be one of the very very first. Surely the Renault motor is spinning in the standard automotive direction though what I'm assuming is some sort of ancient outdrive. I think you have something so rare it might need to go to the Smithsonian.

You may be able to get a Renault starter on ebay if they have a Renault following, I personally would not know. Didn't AMC have some Renault powered cars?
