I had my first brush with reality today, as my local mechanic stared blankly at the vdrive
and prop shaft, stating, "How the heck do you drop the pro shaft or get to the packing gland?"
I'm stumped, as well. Hopefully there is a easier way to do this then remove the drive or engine.
The motor is the 427A - one of my vices in life. What a sound.
Pictures to follow, I will be traveling for the next week, but will get you some images of the boat. It
also has the mid-ship two person bench seat..wish it were stable, but we'll get there.
